AREAS OF PRACTICE - LITIGATION
DOMESTIC
- Have represented a number of leading Clients before the various High Courts and the Supreme Court in matters pertaining to General Civil Commercial Transactions, Construction and Real Estate, Contracts, Banking, Writs, Economic Offences, Mergers and Acquisitions, Taxation, Constitution, Consumer Protection Laws, Entertainment, Telecommunications, Infrastructural Projects and every type of Corporate, Commercial and Civil Transaction.
- Have handled large Arbitral Disputes involving stakes in excess of Rs.9000 Crores before various Arbitral Tribunals in Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Jaipur, Cochin etc and International Arbitral Tribunals like ICC, Paris, in respect of matters involving General Commercial Business / Trade, Construction etc.
- Have defended recovery claims in excess of INR 1400 Crores on behalf of various clients before the Debts Recovery Tribunal / Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal at Chennai, Madurai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.
- Have appeared before the various Tribunals like the Company Law Board, DRT, DRAT, NCLT, NCLAT Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal under PMLA, CESTAT, FERA Board, etc., in respect of legal appeals arising out of Direct / Indirect Taxation and other fiscal Laws.
- Have handled large Economic Offences cases involving large Bank Frauds, Foreign Exchange Violations (FERA & FEMA), PMLA etc investigated by CBI, Enforcement Directorate etc running to more than Rs.1200 Crores and have been regularly conducting trials before the trial courts in the said matters.
INTERNATIONAL
- Have appeared before the Court of Appeals in France and the High Court of Singapore in respect of matters pertaining to International Criminal Disputes / Commercial / Business Transactions.
- Have closely worked with leading Lawyers in Paris, France, Singapore and Dubai, UAE in respect of a case relating to the extradition of an accused to India who was named in a Bank Fraud case.
- Have represented a JV company before the ICC Paris, in an International Arbitral dispute between the shareholders of the JV company.
- Have represented a Company in India before the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Georgia, in a Chapter VII, Bankruptcy Case.

- Have advised both Domestic and Foreign Corporates and Entities regarding International Joint Ventures, Investments in India, Exchange Control Regulations, Local Commercial Laws, etc.
- Have negotiated and arrived at out of Court Settlements in respect of a number of claims raised by Banks, Financial Institutions and Disputes arising out of Private and Public Sector Company Contracts.
- Have coordinated, managed and supervised Multi-jurisdictional litigations and International Arbitrations.
- Have represented clients involved in Multi-Jurisdictional litigations.
- Have coordinated effectively with various Client Offices, Law Firms, Banks, Merchant Bankers, Accountants and Professionals from other Disciplines both in India and Abroad (Singapore, USA, Europe, Thailand and UAE).
